[00:00:00]:
I'm so excited to share this with you today. So this is from overthinking to ownership, and it is talking all about how you can use AI to help you trust yourself. So AI as a thought partner. So a lot of the time when I mention AI, there are so many people who are really, really scared by it, who are unsure, who are nervous about how to use it. So I would say it's not like iRobot. So if you've ever seen the movie, the AI is not coming to take over the world and kill humans. AI is here to support us, to help us, and we can use it in a really positive way. And I'm so passionate about teaching people how to use AI well.
[00:00:41]:
Like, we've all seen the bad uses of AI and there's so many good things we can do with it, and we're only scratching the surface so far. So AI isn't just here to write your captions. It's here to make your life and your business easier. There's so many uses, like I say, other than that. So obviously a lot of people are teaching how to use AI for marketing, and I do that as well because obviously it is a huge part of what AI can do. Like, marketing is so, so good. But I want to talk about something different today. So what if I told you that AI can actually help you to stop second guessing? Like, ditch all those shoulds.
[00:01:17]:
Like, you know, when people say you should be doing this, you should be doing that, oh my God, it drives me mad. And then finally do things that work for you, that feel right for you, and grow a business that works for you. So no more overthinking normal, trying to be like everybody else. Just being clear, confident, and in control about what you want to do in your business. So over the next 20 minutes, I'm going to show you how to use AI to stop doubting yourself and, like, build that business that fits who you are. I'm all about building a business around you. So one that fits your values, your strengths, and your personal. Copying other people's strategies just does not work.
[00:02:00]:
So this isn't just a tech talk. This is a clarity talk. And it's all about confidence, and it's finding your way or no way. And if you remember these magic eight balls, if you're as ancient as me, we're not going to be doing that. We're going forward with clarity and certainty. So if you don't know what a magic eight ball was, it was, like, shaped as a eight ball, like off billiards or pool table, and it had this little clear bit underneath with a die inside of it and used to ask a question and used to shake it and turn it upside down and pray for the right answer. And if you didn't like the answer, you'd give it a shake again and hope the right one came up. But we're not going to do anything like that now.
[00:02:38]:
We're not praying for the right answers, we're finding that clarity. So before we get started, because this is about AI, as you can tell, it will include prompts. Now, if you want a copy of these prompts, because they are quite in depth, and rather than you sitting here and writing them down as fast as humanly possible, I want you to basically scan this QR code and it'll take you through to my insta dms. And if you then send me the word prompt, you'll get a copy of them. So you don't need to sit furiously scribbling down at these prompts. And they can copy and paste. Now, all the prompts are AI agnostic, which means you can use them in any large language model. So Whether you prefer ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, any of the LLMs, you can use them in them.
[00:03:25]:
I'll show you in chat today, just because that's my preferred one. But like I say, you can use them anywhere. So very quickly, I just want to introduce myself. So I'm Gina. I'm an online business strategist and mentor and I'm also an AI nerd that's taught my AI how to speak Geordie. And for those of you who's not in the UK and thinking, what the hell's Jordy? I live in the northeast of England in a city called Newcastle and our dialect is called Geordie. So I do have quite a strong accent and we do have words and phrases that we use and that are known to be Geordie. So I thought, well, if I'm going to use AI, it's got to sound like me.
[00:04:03]:
So therefore I taught it geordie. I've got 20 years business experience, which makes me feel like an absolute dinosaur. So it's 20 years this year since I started my very first business and I love to sing loudly in the car, but luckily not when anybody else is with me because nobody needs that and my last meal on earth would be a Chinese takeaway. So now that's the important bit out the way. So why did I decide like and find out how to use AI as a thought partner? So last Year I had my confidence knocked and I invested quite heavily in somebody after doing my due diligence. So normally, like before investing, and this is what I advise everybody, if you can invest some serious money, you need to know that like the person or the thing that you're investing in is, you know, decent. So I downloaded a freebie from this person and then I bought a low ticket offer which was working with them. And I was like, yeah, yeah.
[00:04:54]:
So I went all in, but it didn't deliver and it wasn't a very pleasant experience. And so what happened was then I started questioning myself because I'd gone with my gut, I trusted my gut instincts and obviously I'd invested in this person and they let me down. So it did really, really knock my confidence. And so after that I started procrastinating a lot. I was honestly replaying every single decision I'd ever made in my head, starting to unpick things, thinking, well, did I make the right decision then and did I not and should I have done this, should I have done that? And I really stopped trusting myself because I thought, well, if that inner compass, that gut instinct was wrong, then what was I meant to do? So a lot of you probably relate to this because I hear the, I honestly hear the story so much about being burned. Like many, many, many people have invested in something that just didn't deliver. And it might be something like low ticket, it might not be something like me where you've invested thousands, but we all feel that. And it has a knock on effect when you've been like burned because like you probably have then lost trust in your gut at some point and you do start second guessing those decisions.
[00:06:05]:
And like, because it's so noisy out there, we also get decision fatigue because there's so many decisions we'll have to make in our business every sing. And like you've just got this endless stream of tabs open in your head and never mind what's on your computer. And so you start overthinking because if you're tired and you don't know, like you like to say, when you've got decision fatigue, how do you know you're making that right decision? So like I say, I've been there and I know that when you don't know who to trust and especially when it's not like yourself, because you know when you've lost that self trust, everything just starts to feel way, way too hard. And like, like I said, overthinking shows up in lots of different ways and it shows up for different people in different ways. But no matter how it shows up, it's exhausting. And I think that like 99% of people will overthink at some point, and especially business owners. It's something that happens and it's something that does rear its ugly head. Like I said, I was 19 years into business when it happened to me and it wasn't the first time.
[00:07:06]:
So I want to just show you four ways that are normally the classic ways that it can show up for you. So let's see if you can identify yourself in any of these and if any of the names I've used are your name, I'm very sorry. They just worked really well in this scenario. So Shiny Susan, underlying thought, maybe this is what I've been missing. So we've all heard of shiny object syndrome. So obviously everybody out there has got the thing that's going to solve all of your problems. You know, buy their thing and it's going to work for you. So obviously you get sucked into this amazing marketing and this has got to be the thing.
[00:07:40]:
So you jump in with both feet, you buy it really fast, then you get that buzz, but then quickly that buzz starts to kind of, you know, fizzle out. And then you think and right. Oh, was this the right thing? And actually, is this the thing that's going to work for me? And then you start all over again and you start looking for that next best strategy and what is going to be that magic fix for you? Then we've got procrastinating Peter. So what if I get it wrong again? This was so me. So obviously overthinking every tiny little detail because you've been burned asking 10 different people's opinions before making a move because you've lost that kind of trust of your own judgment. So therefore you've got to go off other people. But like asking other people, is that really a good thing? Because different people experience different things in different ways. So therefore, just because they think it's good, is it actually going to be good for you? So a lot of the time as well, they keep learning, like doing all the freebies and things like that, but very rarely implement because that means moving forward and it's scary.
[00:08:37]:
Then we'll have logical Lorry. So they need to be 100% sure before the act. Now, I am a very, very logical person and I do look for as much information as possible, but there is no such thing as 100% certainty in anything. So logical Lorry wants all the data, all the case studies and they're going to sit and analyze it, like literally analyze and analyze. But what happens is when you overanalyze, you actually lose clarity. It's not there anymore. So you look calm and smart. On the surface you look like you know you're asking all the right questions, but actually you're not moving forward because you're parall by that analysis.
[00:09:09]:
You are just stuck. And then we have emotional Ellis so it feels aligned, so it must be right now, obviously they lead with the heart, not the head, the investment. Something feels really, really good. Even if the details are fuzzy. They get swept up in all those values and storytelling and often they don't look at the fine print or they'll whether it's a long term fit for them. And then later on they start wondering like why didn't it work for them? And this is like a lot of people at the minute are getting triggered by emotional market and because you know, we've got NLP and things that people understand really well and how to push those buttons to make you feel like this is the thing. And if you are an emotional buyer, a lot of the time you'll go with your emotion but you haven't actually delved into the deeper stuff. So if any of those resonate with you, just to let you know, I was all of those four at different times and at the same time.
[00:10:01]:
And it is totally normal. This has got to be normalized. Not everybody is certain all the time about everything that they do. Overthinking is normal. We are business owners. We've got a lot on my plate. So like after I had that confidence knock, I had two choices. So I could hustle harder and keep chasing new fixes or I could get really, really clear on how I could make decisions and find support that matched that style.
[00:10:28]:
So this is what I did. So I named my patterns. So by giving them names like Susan and Peter and Laurie, it meant that I could spot them really easily because to I had the characters in my head and I was like I could see who they were and I could tell when I was falling into those patterns. And then by externalizing my overthinking and using AI as a thought partner, it meant that I could pause that self doubt loop and then I could literally use AI to organize like my thoughts and literally question any assumptions. And it mirrored back what I was seeing so I could like think through things. Like the same way as what you do when you're talking to somebody. A lot of the time you start asking a question and then by the time You've asked the question, you've probably answered it, and that's what AI can help you to do. So by doing that, it meant that I stopped second guessing myself and I really started to trust my gut and move forward with the clarity that I needed.
[00:11:20]:
So I want to show you how you can do the same. So whatever those patterns, whether you identify with 1, 2, 3, or all of them, AI can help you to make decisions that feel clearer and calmer. And you. So we're not talking about AI telling you what to do, we're talking about it helping you to find the best way forward for you. So I want to talk you through each of the patterns and how AI can support you. So I've got a prompt for each of these scenarios. So depending on which one you are in which circumstance, it's going to help you to move forward with clarity and get rid of all that noise. Because honestly, everybody keeps mentioning, like how noisy things are out there and how do you make a decision when you've got so much noise in your head? So for the first one, shiny Susan so obviously, like I said, jumps in offers very quickly without checking whether it's in alignment with them because they think that it's that magic pill.
[00:12:12]:
What they really need is a moment to pause and reflect before investing. So like I said, my prompts are quite big, quite in depth, which is why I've said to download at the end of this presentation, there's another chance I'll show you the QR code again. So if you haven't already done it, there's a chance to be able to get them again at the end because obviously it's much easier to copy and paste these than it is to try and write them all down. So if you've ever seen prompts that are only a couple of lines long, they're normally not really the best prompts because they're not in depth. So this is what a really good prompt that is going to help you looks like. So I want you to act as my business mentor and guide me through a clear step by step process to help me decide whether to invest in this. Now, in there you can put an offer, a course, a person, a program, and if you have a sales page URL, you can pop that in as well because that gives them so much more information. So the AI can really tailor your questions to this specific offer.
[00:13:09]:
So ask no more than three questions at a time and help me reflect, not be told what to do. I want to reconnect with what's right for me. So, number one, it's going to ask you the Spark check. So what's drawing you to this offer? Is it aligned or is it driven by FOMO or excitement? And then it's going to ask about your goals and priorities. Does it support what I'm focused on right now? Am I already sitting on something similar that I haven't used? How many of us have bought things, downloaded things and not used them? And then the third thing it's going to do is check with the alignment. Does it match how I like to work my values and the kind of business I want to build? And then it's going to go on ROI and patterns. So is it likely to deliver a good return? Now, when I say about good return, I mean it needs to be time as well as money invested. Because obviously, you know, you can invest, say like, you know, $50 on something, but it might take you five hours to do it and you're investing a lot more time in the money.
[00:14:02]:
So you have to think about both of those things. Then also ask, have I tried something like this before and happened? And then it's going to summarize everything. So once I've explored it, summarize my thinking in a few key points, then gently reflect, does it sound like a clear yes and not right now, or a no? Disguise as excitement. Keep your tone calm, supportive and curious. I don't need answers, just clarity. Now, it is going to ask three questions at a time because that's what the optimum amount for our brains to deal with. More than that, we get overwhelmed less with that, it's a lot slower. But if you find it easier just to go through one question at a time, you can change that prompt and just put in like one question at a time.
[00:14:41]:
So then what I've done is just recorded a demo of where I've put some information. So obviously I've posted in this, pasted in, sorry, this prompt and then put in a URL of an offer, just sort of saying, this is the offer that I'm interested in. And then what it's going to do is it's going to go through those questions. So it's going to go through the Spark check and ask you those first three questions that I've just sort of said. Now what I've done is when I've answered them, I've put in very short, concise answers. But you can put in as much information as you like into these answers. And what you can do is if you prefer, you can use like a dictation tool and then paste that in. You can use a dictation tool within chat GPT if you've got it.
[00:15:21]:
It doesn't like my accent, so I find it easier using my notes. But then what happens is once you answer, it's then reflecting back exactly what I've just said. So you need drawn a Nick herself, naturally curious about psychology. You want to use it to level up. So basically it's asking like, is this what it is? It's reflecting back and then it's going on to the second lot of questions. If it's reflected back and you think no, you haven't quite got it before asking those sets, answering the second questions you can put in saying, no, actually that's not quite right. Do this and then move on to questions like the next slot. So obviously I've answered the questions again.
[00:15:55]:
So it's come back. Here's a gentle mirror back. Current focus on reach, visibility and sharpening your offers. Certification might help you understand people more deeply. Already got access to some of Nick's things via a book. So obviously it's things. That's what I've said to it. Then it's asking now an alignment check.
[00:16:12]:
So does the program match how you like to learn? This is like a really important question because a lot of the time we don't think about things like that. So it's again asking whether this is in alignment with who you are and how you work and how you want your business to be. So again I've popped in the answers in there and then basically it's come back and again, here's what I'm hearing. You thrive with flexibility and support. Right now is full. This would complement your work, but it's not your core identity shift. So then it's going on now to the ROI and pattern. So what would need to happen for the investment to be 100% worth it? So obviously again I've gone through and answered those three questions saying that what it means for me for what the ROI would need to be.
[00:16:54]:
And then again it's mirroring back. So here's the reflection. For this to be worth that, you need a clear ROI both financially and in terms of impact. You've had similar experiences before where you hoped that it would build credibility, but it didn't shift much. And then there's a lower, there's lower cost options available. And then what it's doing now is this summary and reflection. So this is summarizing and reflecting on everything I've answered in all of those past questions to make sure that I understand where I'm at. So then I can read through this and go, yes, this is how I'm actually feeling.
[00:17:28]:
It's in black and white. It's actually like some way of being able to go, right, yes. Is this right for me now or is it no? And obviously from what I've gone back, I've kind of gone. I think it's not right now, maybe in the future it's not the right time for me. So again, it's now saying it's not closing the door, just choosing to not walk through it right now. It's given us some other things I could do to move forward. And then it's just asking like what I want to do. So would it like me to like, you know, do I want it to help find other things? So without the 10k investment or do you want to just park it for now? So I've said park it for now.
[00:18:04]:
If I said, well, actually I'm still interested, but I don't want to be putting that amount of money in, it can then you can say it. Look, I want to find other things similar to this that doesn't have that price tag. And it would start helping you to find those things to move forward. Now, depending on what you answer, it's going to impact obviously the questions that you get as well. So the next one is for procrastinating Peter. So obviously get stuck in analysis. Paralysis needs clarity to move forward and then the want space to think out loud and simplifies thoughts. So again with this one, this is just a copy and paste that you don't have to put any more information in.
[00:18:40]:
So I'm feeling stuck and overthinking a decision. I want your help to move forward with more clarity and confidence. Please guide me through a gentle step by step process. Ask no more than three questions at a time. Start by helping me explore what decision I'm facing, what might be making me hesitate, any fears or beliefs that could be holding me back. Then help me to get clear on what actually matters in this decision. Separate what's true from what's just noise or pressure. Identify whether I'm delaying because it's not right or just because it's unfamiliar.
[00:19:07]:
Once we've explored all of that, summarize my thinking in a few bullet points. Then help me to figure out one small low pressure next step I can take even if I'm still not 100% sure. Please be calm, supportive and curious. I don't need a final answer. Just help me reconnect with what feels most right. So the idea of this is to get you out of that procrastination and moving forward and get you that one little step that you can take to start actually moving forward. So again with this one, like I said, I have just copied and pasted this in. There's no need for any more information.
[00:19:37]:
And the first thing it's going to do is ask you three questions about this. So the first thing it's doing is asking you about what the decision is that you're trying to make right now. What do you notice is making you hesitate? And then are there any fears, beliefs or inner stories playing out that might be keeping you stuck? So again I've gone in, answered those three questions just very briefly. You can give it a lot more information if that helps. And then it's coming back reflecting, saying like, what's driving this decision? So like what's your honest why for wanting to create the offer? Again, because what I've said to it, it's then changing the questions depending on the information I'm giving it. It's not just going to ask the same three questions all the time. It depends on what you're telling it. So again, I've answered those three questions.
[00:20:23]:
It's coming back saying here's what standing back and it's out. And it's reflecting on what I've said to it. So being excited about the offer, willing to do the work, real wobble is really is it good enough or why would they choose me? Then it's going on saying, right, okay, next thing is getting more grounded. What makes the offer different? What would make it like? What would success look like? What would need to be true for you to feel safe enough to test it? And then with that it's given me examples. Small group be round pre selling it, sharing it with warm leads. So I'm going back and answering that and saying I like the idea of pre selling it. It's like a good idea that obviously it's offered me. So it's given me a way thinking oh actually, how can I move forward? So then again it's now reflecting what's true.
[00:21:05]:
You believe in the offer, your unique strength is your clarity and personal approach. Success isn't about mass appeal. And then here's the one low pressure next step. So it's saying pre, sell it to a small group and then testing the concept and validate now that it's wanted and you're staying in motion. So then again, would you like help drafting a post or an offer and through pew prompts to shape it clearly and quickly. So it's given you what you need to do to move forward, but also offering your help in order to get moving forward. And you can carry on the conversation about it, but obviously that was about me saying about an offer. But depending on what you've told it, it'll have totally different questions for you.
[00:21:44]:
So the next thing is logical lobby. So obviously structured reflection and prioritization is really needed on logic and alignment. So this is very much thinking in a logical way and analytics much shorter prompt for this one. So I'm considering a decision, but I'm stuck in analysis mode. I want you to act like a strategic advisor and guide me through this calmly and clearly. Please ask me up to three questions at a time to help me focus on the outcome I actually want. Check whether this decision aligns with my current strategy and capacity. Identify if I'm over complicating or delaying for safety.
[00:22:16]:
Get out of my head and into action. Once I've worked through it, please summarise my thinking and offer a short logical next step based on what I've shared. Be clear and grounded, but don't tell me what to do. I just want to trust my judgment, not outsource it. So again, this is just a clear like copy and paste in and then it'll start asking you the questions. So you don't need to give it any information at first. So obviously what's the decision that you're considering? What's the real outcome that you want? And if it goes well, what would be different in your business or life three months from now? So again, I've just given it very sort of quick answers to this. So then it's going forward.
[00:22:54]:
So what kind of support do you actually need right now? What feels most important to you in bringing someone on board? So obviously I'm talking about whether to employ somebody or use freelancers. So it's really going deep on the questions around that. So every time you give it information, it is going to ask relevant questions to help you move forward. And obviously it keeps asking those three questions and reflecting back. So as I've said, if something doesn't feel right when it's reflecting back, tell it and then ask it to move on to the next set of questions. And then the last one is emotional Ellis. So obviously this is somebody that makes those decisions based on emotion or connection and they overlook that logic. So they need space to explore the feelings but also balance it with purpose and make sure that they're looking into that nitty gritty.
[00:23:41]:
So for this one, again quite a long prompt. So feeling emotionally drawn to something, an idea, a direction or a way of doing things and I want your help to figure out whether it's truly aligned or just emotionally charged. Here's what I'm considering. So you could put in like whether with an idea and offer a direction or if you've got a URL again you can pop that in. Please guide me through this. Gently ask no more than three questions. Start by helping me explore what emotions or values are being activated, what this idea represents to me, freedom, ease, connection, purpose, etc whether I feel pulled towards it from alignment or from avoidance of something else. And then help me reflect whether this supports the kind of business I want to build, if I'm resisting advice or structure out of fear or because it truly doesn't fit.
[00:24:26]:
Whether this feels expansive and grounded or emotional and uncertain. At the end, please summarize my thinking in a few bullet points and gently reflect. Does it sound like an aligned yes or a not right now or a heartfelt no? Keep your tone kind, curious and gentle. I'm not looking for permission, just a safe space to explore what's true for me. So obviously with this one I've copied and pasted in but what I've said is, is that I've been told to niche but it feels like I'm being put in a box because this is something that clients say to me all the time the horrible question about nich. So again it's going through what emotions are coming up for you? What values do you feel are being challenged? What do you feel? The resistance is Tunisian and what might it represent for you? So it's asking those emotions questions. So this is very different to the logical one before about what do you want out your business but it's also going to go on to ask you like what difference it makes to you and what's in alignment with you for your business and like what feels good for you. So it's, it's, it's using your emotion but it's making sure that your sense checking it as well and that you're putting it through that logical arm as well.
[00:25:30]:
And you're not just going with that gut feeling all the time because we do need to check our emotions at times so that's just going to keep going through like I say and asking the questions about like what it feels like obviously with this one for niching and how does it feel for you? So what we've done there is we've named those four patterns. And then we've used different AI prompts to shift that overthinking so that you can start trusting yourself. Because as you saw in all those examples, you're answering the questions. It's just reflecting back to you. At no point is it telling you what to do. You are actually making those decisions and it's helping you choose that clarity. So obviously you've seen how powerful asking the right questions can be. And obviously those prompts are amazing and you've got those to copy and paste in.
[00:26:20]:
But sometimes we don't have the prompts with us. We might have our phones with us, we might not have the time to dig the prompts out. And you might just want something really quick that you can access straight away. So I have a little gift for you. So I want you to meet Ali. So she is your strategic sidekick. Now, she is a strategist in your pocket and she knows your values, she's going to support your energy and she's not going to throw like a thousand and one questions at you. You.
[00:26:46]:
She's just gonna help you to decide what to do next. Now, she is a custom GPT, so she only works in chat. GPT, obviously, like I said, all the other prompts work in any LLMs, but this is only for chat. So obviously this time, if you are on the go or you want to be quick, she'll sit in your sidebar once you download that in chat and you'll just be able to ask her questions and she's going to walk you through. Very similar to the same process that you've just been through. Obviously it is not as nuanced. So because she is set up as a strategist, you have to give us some information, obviously. And then she'll change the questions depending of it.
[00:27:22]:
But if you tell her that you're emotionally kind of driven or that you are feeling procrastination, she'll obviously go into those things for you. So in order to meet Ali, if you scan this date, like the QR code again, it's going to take you through to my insta dms, just DM me the word AI Ali. So a I, a double ly and you'll get access to here. So like I say, just click through and you'll go through a chatgpt where you can use that and she'll sit in your sidebar and obviously do just want to let you know, like AI isn't here to replace you. AI doesn't work without a human behind it. We'll have to have human interaction with it because it literally will not work without us. We've got to prompt it, we've got to give it that information. So it is here to amplify who you are.
Gina [00:28:07]:
The clearer you are on who you are, the more powerful AI becomes. And obviously I love like to say this, but if I can teach mine to like to talk Jordy, then yours is going to be able to learn your strategy and it's going to be able to support you to move forward. So if you have any questions with regards to AI AI Alley or something like that, again, my Instagram is always open. You can come and DM me. It is me who answers the questions. I don't have a bot in there. It is me who you're talking to. So again, if you want the prompts, if you didn't get them earlier, that's the QR code.
[00:28:42]:
It will take you through to my insta dms. Just DM me the word prompt and you'll get a copy of all those prompts that are copy and pasteable. And then if you want Ally, you send me AI Ali and you'll get her as well. I hope you found this really, really helpful and I would love to know how you get on with it.
